Shout out to GAH - As an owner of a senior dog, I am entering that time when tests aren't always turning out the way I hope. The staff at GAH is caring and understanding (esp when I become teary) and always take the time to explain the ailment/illness and the various treatment options. I feel respected and listened to. They treat my dog with a gentle hand and do their best to soothe his anxiety.

While the emphasis is on making sure my dog is healthy and leads the best life possible, they also make certain I can afford the medications. Now that my dog requires daily meds, GAH had me sign up for a program that saves me money. This is what small town customer service is all about.

Yesterday was my dog's first time here. Dr. King and her staff were excellent. I was getting a second opinion (recently moved to village of Bishop Hill and had been bringing him to a vet in Galva) but also wanted a different vet. Dr. King did a very thorough exam, was careful and kind to Shorty and respectful of me. She had a completely different diagnosis. Thank goodness for her wisdom and intelligence or Shorty may have ended up in a bad way had we not switched. So grateful. Highly recommend this vet!!

We lost our family's cat last week. The staff were very helpful and even sent a sympathy card that everyone signed. It seems like a small gesture, but that was really special to our family. 

I thought everybody was wonderful.Had a scheduled appt. for Fri. slipped by me and they were able 2 get me n Sat. morning.Thank you.Thanksgiving I lost my Nikko I thought they were fair n this moment of heartache and sincere.They even went out of their way and sent a card from staff.Them extra things I appreciate and really grateful for.I will b taking my babies here from now on. Again thank you everyone.
