Laser Therapy for Pets

Laser therapy is a non-invasive, highly safe and effective treatment that treats both inflammation and pain.  Therapy laser has been successful in treating acute conditions such as wounds, allergies, and post-surgical wound healing and pain relief.  Chronic conditions can be treated with laser therapy treatments, too.  Degenerative joint disease, periodontal disease, and hip dysplasia are some of the chronic conditions that see improvement when treated with therapeutic laser.

WHAT IS LASER THERAPY FOR PETS?

Laser therapy is a new treatment using a beam of laser light to deeply penetrate tissue without damaging it.  The light stimulates cellular activity, causing the body to increase its healing power.   The biological response in the cells leads to reduced pain, inflammation and increased healing.

Treatments are safe and often relaxing for pets. During the procedure, the warmth of the laser provides pain relief and comfort, and many pets become so relaxed they even fall asleep!  In general, most pets experience an improvement in their condition within the first few treatments.
